Stoughton Man Arrested for Driving Drunk for the Fourth Time

Stoughton Man Arrested for Driving Drunk for the Fourth Time

Stoughton Police made a motor vehicle stop on York Street at the Canton line at 9:40 p.m. on July 29, resulting in a drunk driving arrest.

David Walter Piatkowski, 58, of York St. in Stoughton,  was charged with operating under the influence of liquor (4th offense) and with a marked lanes violation.

Unlawful Possession of Fireworks

A Boston man was charged with the unlawful possession of fireworks following a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Turnpike St. and Peters Dr. in Stoughton at 6:02 a.m. on July 31.

In addition to the unlawful possession of fireworks, Raymond Dunn, 31, of Boston, was also charged with operating with a suspended license and speeding.

Malicious Damage

At 2:46 a.m. on July 30, a caller on Page Terrace reported reported that someone was attempting to break into her apartment and force the window screen in. The caller ran to a neighbor's apartment to notify police.

Police responded and Allan Visser, 51, of Page Terrace in Stoughton, was charged with malicious damage over $250.

Drunk Driving

Melissa Brock, 42, of Sumner St. in Stoughton, was drunk, when her truck struck a pole and a tree on Plain Street around 1:15 p.m. on July 26, according to police.

Brock was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor; possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle; the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; reckless operation of a motor vehicle; marked lanes violation; failure to slow, speeding, and the possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
