With a 4-3 victory over top-seeded King Philip last Thursday evening in the finals, Stoughton won the Hockomock Summer League Baseball championship in the 15 American division.
Stoughton went 8-6 in the regular season, beating Walpole in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs and North Attleboro in the semifinals, before topping King Philip for the championship. It was just the second loss of the season for KP.
Stoughton players include: Nick Quattrucci, Luke Butera, Doug Seaman, Joe Piana, Alex Acciavatti, Brad Allen, Brandon Jung, Barry Cooke, Colin Kelly, Cole Salem, Tommy Herr, and Harrison Fallon.
Jay DiStefano was the manager and was assisted by Joe Piana.
