The Last Shot in Stoughton Aims to be First-Rate Sports Bar and Entertainment Spot

The Last Shot Sports Bar & Grill is a family run business and has been at its 559 Washington Street location in Stoughton for four years.

The Nalli Family have been Canton residents for 35 years and Patch heard that they have some secret family recipes that they have brought to Stoughton.

Menu items include a wide variety of appetizers - wings, nachos, fried pickles, fired dough, calamari, etc. and a huge selection of burgers, sandwiches, wraps and pizzas.

Stoughton Patch sat down with owner Tony Nalli to find out why people come back time and again for the atmosphere, the music and the great food.

Patch: Our readers want to know about your food...Are you the place to get that great burger?

Tony Nalli: Our food is well above bar food or any stamped out chain restaurant. We are known for our big juicy sirloin burgers cooked to your liking, which starts with only quality beef from a butcher. We take pride in everything we serve starting from fresh high quality ingredients. Our Chef makes all of our soups and sauces from scratch and our tomato sauce is a secret Italian recipe handed down from generation to generation. All of our chicken is breaded to order and our steak tips are hand cut from choice tenderloin.

Patch: The Big Game is coming up this weekend. Why should people come to the Last Shot to watch the Super Bowl?

TN: We are by far the best place to watch any sporting event with our HD T.V.'s and our two jumbo drop down projection screens. There's not a bad seat in the house and always a great crowd to route on our Boston  teams together. Anyone that was with us when the Bruins won the Stanley Cup will tell you it was an epic time with confetti and all!

Patch: Can people or a company rent your restaurant for a private function?

TN: Yes they can. We have a great back room for functions, private parties and corporate events complete with a private bar and bartender. Contact TheLastShot@msn.com for information and booking dates.

Patch: How often do you have live music and bands?

TN: We feature live bands every weekend and will have a D.J. from time to time. With brand new bands continuously playing our venue, there is always something new to see. We have great house bands that play several times each year that our regulars follow faithfully. High Speed Jesus and Daddy O are just two of our favorite bands that perform here.

Patch: Do you ever have special events?

TN: As a matter a fact The Last Shot features different events each month that sets us apart from others. To name a few, we have hosted 50's parties with pink ladies and greasers, toga parties, Jersey Shore nights, 80's nights, Oktoberfest (with home made soft pretzels, big draft beers, lederhosen and all), back to school events, Love Stinx parties and Jimmy Buffet events. Our friendly staff always participates in these events by dressing to the hilt for each special event.

Patch: Why do you think come back time and again?

TN: The best part about The Last Shot is that when you are a guest in our house, you are treated like family. Comfortable, clean and friendly. And don't forget fun! "Famiglia e tutto" - Family is everything.

Patch: Anyting coming up that you want our readers to know about?

TN: On Friday, February 1, we have our 50's night with the live band Daddy O and then on Friday, February 15 we have our Love Stinx party with Live Rage Against the Machine, a Limpbizkit Tribute Band.

In March we are the place to be for St.Patrick's Day with Irish Step Dancers, corned beef cabbage, sheppard's pie, green beer and acoustic and live bands.
