Ruth Weiner, Neighbor

Ruth Weiner, a freelance writer and educator, taught English for 25 years in the Stoughton Public Schools and 8 years in the Randolph Public Schools. She taught the American Studies program, as well as the journalism program at SHS for many years and published the award winning Knight newspaper with the help of many talented students, including former Editor of Stoughton Patch Jeffrey Pickette. She has been published in Cup of Comfort for Breast Cancer Survivors, Teaching Voices, and We Teach Them All; she was also a regular contributor to The Canton Citizen. An avid bicycler, Scrabble player, and reader, she most enjoys spending time with her 5 grandchildren. She's also an active committee member of One Book One Town: Sharon Reads Together.
