I was born in NH, graduated from Dartmouth College, the Bread Loaf School of English and took a number of post-graduate courses at Bridgewater State.   I have lived on Ames/Long Pond in Stoughton since 1977 and was an English teacher and eventually Department Head at Newton South High School from 1967 to 2003.   Currently I am President of the Stoughton Historical Society and a member of the Historical Commission.  I am also a member of the Easton and Canton Historical societies.   I spend a lot of time in local history, vegetable gardening, hiking/dog-walking, hunting, and windsurfing and view Easton, Sharon, Canton, Avon and Foxboro as extended home turf.
