With the likelihood of rain and the chance of heavy downpours, damaging wind gusts and thunderstorms this Friday and Saturday, a "hazardous weather outlook" has been issued for the Stoughton area, according to the National Weather Service. The following information is from the National Weather Service in Taunton and pertains to all of Massachusetts except Berkshire County: There will be an unsettled period of weather ahead of us Friday through Saturday evening. Thunderstorms with very heavy downpours and possibly damaging wind gusts will be the main threats. Showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous during the course of Friday.
