William J. Cronin William J. Cronin, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of 62 years of the late Alice M. (Stevens) Cronin. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Dorchester before graduating from Jamaica Plain High School, Class of 1947. He was a resident of Stoughton for 40 years and previously lived in Brookline for over 25 years. Mr. Cronin served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a partner of the Forest Floor Division of the Maltby Company for 20 years before being starting his own company, BMB Logging where he worked for over 20 years.
