Still Standing: Stoughton High Boys' Basketball Beats Boston Latin; Postseason Berth on the Line in Finale

The Stoughton High boys' basketball team beat Boston Latin 63-52 Sunday night in the opening game of the Walpole Hoops Classic. Stoughton will face host Walpole in the finale Monday night with a trip to the postseason on the line.

The Stoughton High boys' basketball team lives another day as they improved to 9-10 on the season with a 63-52 over Boston Latin Academy in the opening round of the Walpole Hoop Classic Sunday night at Walpole High.  With the win, Stoughton will play host Walpole Monday night for a chance to clinch a berth in the MIAA state tournament. A loss would end Stoughton's season. A loss Sunday against Boston Latin would have eliminated Stoughton as well, but the Black Knights jumped out to an early lead and cruised to victory.
