"Five Things you Need to Know Today" is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance. 1. Stoughton's Town Hall Roof Project Update Parking in the front of and on either side of Stoughton's Town Hall has been temporarily prohibited as crews continue work on the historic building's roof. The historic building's asphalt roof is being replaced with a more durable slate surface. Town employees will continue to park in the lot in the rear of the building (off Rose Street) and the municipal lot next to the Stoughton Police Station on Rose Street. More street parking will have to be utilized in the meantime for visitors. Patrons are being asked to enter the building from the rear (the basement), with signs …

Teen Drivers to Get Crash Course on Distracted Driving Thanks to Stoughton Insurance Agency

Stoughton's Hardy Insurance Agency will be bringing the Distractology 101 Tour to Stoughton from August 27-31 to educate teen drivers on the dangers of distracted driving, using a mobile classroom and high-tech driving simulations.

The following is a press release: Teenage drivers will get a first-hand look at just how dangerous it is to text and drive, when The Arbella Insurance Foundation Distractology 101 tour rolls into Stoughton. Hardy Insurance Agency will be bringing the state-of-the-art Distractology 101 tour to Stoughton during the week of August 27-31. Distractology 101 is an interactive program developed by the Arbella Insurance Foundation to teach new drivers the dangers of distracted driving. The campaign features a 36-foot-long, neon-yellow mobile classroom outfitted with high-tech driving simulators designed to give new drivers the chance to experience the perils of distracted driving, including texting while driving. Teen Drivers to Get Crash Course on Distracted Driving at Cobb's Corner

Gallahue Insurance brings the Distractology 101 Tour to Cobb's Corner to educate teen drivers on the dangers of distracted driving, using a mobile classroom and high-tech driving simulations.

The following is a press release: Gallahue Insurance will be bringing the state-of-the-art Distractology 101 tour to Cobb's Corner during the week of June 25 - 29.  Distractology 101 is an interactive program developed by the Arbella Insurance Group Charitable Foundation to teach new drivers the dangers of distracted driving.  The campaign features a 36-foot-long, neon-yellow mobile classroom outfitted with high-tech driving simulators designed to give new drivers the chance to experience the perils of distracted driving, including texting while driving.
