Article by Mike Carroll; photos and video by Stoughton Patch editor Jeffrey Pickette *** Some of Stoughton's finest performers got to show off thier talents April 12 when the Stoughton Public Schools Music Department and Parents of Performing Students (POPS) sponsored the first ever "Stoughton's Got Talent" talent show at the Stoughton High auditorium.  Twenty-two acts took to the stage singing, dancing, playing instruments, doing karate or gymnastics routines.   The Junior category placers were Madison Peck (1st), Janae Beauliere (2nd), and Mirabella DeMarino (3rd). STOUGHTON'S GOT TALENT: The Stoughton High Music Department, in collaboration with Parents of Performing Students (POPS), is sponsoring its first "Stoughton's Got Talent" talent show on Friday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in the Stoughton High auditorium. There are 22 finalist acts that will be battling for cash! There are cash awards for the top three contestants in two divisions (7th Grade and Under and 8th Grade and Up) - $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place and $75 for 3rd place. Auditions Coming Up for "Stoughton's Got Talent"

The Stoughton High Music Department, in collaboration with Parents of Performing Students, is sponsoring its 1st Annual "Stoughton's Got Talent" talent show. Auditions are March 11 and March 18.

The following is a press release from the Stoughton High Music Department:  The Stoughton High Music Department, in collaboration with Parents of Performing Students (POPS), is sponsoring its 1st Annual "Stoughton's Got Talent" talent show on Friday April 12, at 7 p.m. in the Stoughton High auditorium. If you sing, dance, play an instrument, play in a band, tell jokes, or do magic, this is the show for you! There are cash awards for the top three contestants - $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place and $75 for 3rd place. All residents of Stoughton and students of the public schools are welcome to participate.
