Manuel J. Rodrigues Former Stoughton selectman Manuel J. Rodrigues, 79, of Sagamore Beach, died at home May 16, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Carla (Weston) Rodrigues. Born June 1, 1932, he was the son of the late Manuel and Mary (Perry) Rodrigues. Mr. Rodrigues served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Wareham Elks, American Legion in Sandwich, and the Bourne VFW. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years in the Stoughton area, and also served as selectman for the town of Stoughton. Mr. Rodrigues and his wife owned and operated a Cape Cod package store. Marthe M. (Laroche) Wells Marthe M. (Laroche) Wells, 77, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton after a period of failing health. Born in Cape Haitian, Haiti, she was raised and educated in Haiti. Mrs. Wells came to the United States at age 19 and continued her education at Providence-Barrington Bible College in Rhode Island. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years. She worked as a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, at the Brockton Visiting Nurse Association and as a private duty nurse for many years, retiring in 1995. She was an active member of the People's Baptist Church in Boston and later at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Brockton for many years. She is survived by her two sons…

Robert D. Rideout Robert D. Rideout, 90, died Monday, May 7 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Antoinette L. (Anastasi) Rideout. Born in Dorchester Lower Mills, he was raised and educated in Dorchester. Mr. Rideout was a resident of Hough's Neck in Quincy for several years before moving to Stoughton in 1962. He was a Veteran of the US Army in both WWII and Korea. He worked as a steel worker for over 40 years and then as an Iron Worker for Local 501 in Boston for over eight years. In younger days, he worked as a Stone Cutter for Canniff Monument. He was a member of several clubs including the Middleboro Elks, the Sons of Italy in Easton, the VFW Milton Post in Dorchester, the Milton Yacht Club …
