Stoughton Youth Soccer Registration Registration is open for the Fall 2012 season for Stoughton Youth Soccer. Early registration and early bird rates will close June 30. Rates will increase July 1. While the 2011-2012 school year just ended, and the summer just started, it's never too early to look ahead to the upcoming school year. The first day of school for the 2012-2013 school year for students in grades 1-12 is Wednesday, September 5, 2012 (after Labor Day). Teachers (Unit A) and nurses report the day before. Kindergarteners start Friday, September 7, 2012. The last day of school, for students in grades K-11, is Friday, June 21, 2013. The last day when including the built-in five snow days is Friday, June 28, 2013. The graduation for the Stoughton High class of 2013 is Thursday, June 6, 2013. Monday, June 11 starts the final full week for students and teachers in the Stoughton Public Schools. Final exams at Stoughton High start Wednesday, June 13. A detailed final exam schedule can be found by clicking here. The last day of the 2011-2012 school year is Tuesday, June 19 for students in grades kindergarten through 11. If teachers weren't so foolish and insisting on an after Labor Day start to school, there is a really good possibility they could end the school year a lot earlier. Even with Snow Days, the school year wouldn't go until the end of June. Here, in TN, we start in mid August and end the end of May.
