Led by Young Roster, Stoughton High Hockey Looks to Skate to Success

2012-2013 Stoughton High Winter Sports Preview: Looking at the boys' ice hockey team.

The Stoughton High hockey team is young - there are more freshmen and sophomores (10) than juniors and seniors (8), but there is reason to expect Stoughton to bounce back from a 1-win season a year ago. "We hope to improve on last year's record," head coach Dan Mark said. "I have a feeling we're going to be able to do that. We have some really good young players so I'm really looking forward to this season." Despite winning only one game, a bright spot for Stoughton last year was the team receiving the James F. Mulloy Team Sportsmanship Award at a special ceremony at the TD Garden on March 18. Even as the team looks to improve from last season, adding wins doesn't have to come at the expense of having exemplary sportsmanship. Senior …
