The Citizens Bank in the Stoughton Stop and Shop was robbed the evening of September 6.
Stoughton Police are still looking for the suspect involved in the September 6 robbery of Citizens Bank in the Stop and Shop at 278 Washington St. The robbery took place at 6:28 p.m. that evening. A surveillance photo from the robbery has been posted on the MassMostWanted wesbite. The suspect is female with a small build, light complexion and of medium height. The suspect is believed to have fled the supermarket bank on foot to nearby Charles Ave. Ext., where she possibly left in a dark colored vehicle. The Citizens Bank in the Stoughton Stop and Shop was robbed Thursday evening.
Stoughton Police are looking for the suspect involved in the Wednesday evening robbery of Citizens Bank in the Stop and Shop at 278 Washington St. The suspect is described as a white female, 5'4", and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark glasses and a dark colored Red Sox baseball cap, Lt. Fran Wohlgemuth of the Stoughton Police Department said. The robbery took place at 6:28 p.m. on September 6. The unarmed suspect passed a note to the teller, Wohlgemuth said. The amount stolen is undetermined. After fleeing the supermarket bank on foot to nearby Charles Ave. Ext., the suspect possibly left in a dark colored vehicle possibly accompanied by a black male, Wohlgemuth said. A man allegedly passed counterfeit money at both Tedeschi's in Stoughton this past week as well at the Stoughton Stop and Shop, according to Mass Most Wanted.
Stoughton Police are searching for a man who allegedly passed counterfeit money at various businesses in town, according to the website Mass Most Wanted. The man, described as having a medium build, with a medium complexion and of medium height, allegedly passed a counterfeit $100 bill that was printed on an actual $5 bill. At 11:04 a.m. on July 9, Stoughton Police received a call from Tedeschi Food Shops at 871 Washington St. to report that a customer had passed a counterfeit note on July 8. At 8:48 a.m. on July 10, Stoughton Police received a call from the other Tedeschi Food Shops location in town (978 Central St.) to report that a customer had passed a counterfeit $100 bill.
