Stoughton Public Schools CLOSED Friday, March 8

The Stoughton Public Schools will be closed Friday, March 8, 2013 as the town continues to deal with a lingering two-day snowstorm.

Students in Stoughton will get another three-day weekend thanks to the snow.  Schools in Stoughton will be closed on Friday, March 8, 2013, Superintendent Dr. Marguerite Rizzi said, as the town continues to deal with a lingering two-day snowstorm.  Dr. Rizzi made the decision shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday. She said with snow forecasted throughout the night, she can't expect the DPW to keep up with the conditions. This will mark the fourth weather-related closing of the 2012-2013 school year. There are five snow days built into the school calendar each year.
