The following is from the Sheehan Funeral Home website: Luisa Jacinta Pacheco, a housewife and resident of Stoughton since 1970, passed away on Monday April 1, 2013 at The Copley At Stoughton Nursing Facility. She was 95 years old and the beloved wife of of over 65 years to the late Carmindo Pacheco. She is survived by her three children, Jose C. Pacheco and his wife Eduarda of Stoughton, Verginio Pacheco of Stoughton, Arlindo J. Pacheco and his wife Rosaria of Montica, California, his sister Carma Barros of Stoughton, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Luisa was born on June 28, 1917 in Flores, Azores, Portugal. She attended and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She enjoyed knitting sweaters…

" Tenny " Nolan, 74, a 45 year resident of Stoughton, formerly of New Bedford, passed away at home after a brief illness on Monday March 18, 2013. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 48 years, Rosemary L. ( Mello ) Nolan, and his four loving children, Kathryn A. Nolan and her husband Vincent Calenzo of Stratford, CT, John H. Nolan of Stoughton, Ryan P. Nolan of Falmouth and Kyle J. Nolan also of Stoughton. Other survivors include his brother John H. Nolan of Ballwin, MO, his four grandchildren, Amber Rose Nolan, Vaughn Joseph Nolan, Alea Joi Monson, James Nolan Calenzo, and his many friends. Ernest P. Blye, Sr. Ernest P. Blye, Sr., 74, died unexpectedly Feb. 6, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of the late Carole I. (Elsemiller) Blye. Born in Stoughton, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mr. Blye was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He worked as a Meat Cutter in several Stop & Shop Supermarkets in the area for over 42 years. He retired several years ago. Mr. Blye was a member of the Meat Cutters Union. Edward J. Rush Edward J. Rush, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at the VA Medical Center in Brockton on Tuesday, December 18. He was the husband of Rose P. (Cullen) Rush. Born in Boston, he was raised in Dorchester and was a Double Eagle, graduating from BC High School, Class of 1952 and Boston College, Class of 1956. Mr. Rush was a resident of Stoughton for 43 years. He was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army, serving from 1957-1959. He was a member of the DAV, Chapter 29 in Braintree and the AMVETS John McKeon Post 146 in Dorchester. Jeanne M. (Russell) Baeta Jeanne M. (Russell) Baeta, a lifelong resident of Stoughton passed away on Monday December 10, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 81-years-old and the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Baeta. She is survived by her three sons, Donald L. Baeta of Taunton, Ronald L. Baeta of Stoughton and Thomas L. Baeta also of Stoughton. Other survivors include her two grandchildren Thomas J. Raul Costa Raul Monte Brasil Costa, a resident of Stoughton since 1958, died peacefully at home on Friday Oct. 12. He was 86. Mr. Costa was the loving husband of Mary A. (Fernandes) Costa for over 54 years. Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, Mr. Costa was the son of the late Antonio and Maria Diamantina Dacosta Melo. He worked for the Draper Brothers Company in Canton for many years until his retirement in 1991. Mr. Costa is lovingly remembered by his family as being a family man who loved spending time with his family. Jean M. (Sullivan) Melito Jean M. (Sullivan) Melito, 78, of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 7, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after being stricken ill at her home. She was the beloved wife of over 60 years of Peter J. Melito, Sr. Born and raised in Brookline, she was a resident of Stoughton for over 45 years. Mrs. Melito worked as a bookkeeper for McKesson Liquors and for Martignetti Liquors for many years. She retired over 15 years ago. In her free time, Mrs. Melito enjoyed watching all sports, especially baseball, and loved spending time with her family. Alva Louise (Hipson) Hoadley Alva Louise (Hipson) Hoadley, a longtime resident of Stoughton, passed away after a period of failing health on Monday July 23, 2012. She was 86 years old and the beloved wife of the late Melvin R. Hoadley. Born April 26, 1926 in Boston, she was a daughter to the late Athelston Y. and Eva E. Hipson. Alva was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She married her late husband in 1949, resided in Dorchester and later moved to Stoughton in 1954. Mrs. Hoadley was employed by the Masoneilan Company in Avon, MA for over 17 years. She retired in 1996. A TERRIBLE LOSS: Friends for Seniors Secretary Lorraine McCarthy tells About Town the bad news: "John O’Meara died suddenly on Friday [January 13]. John’s death was so sudden. He had been in the hospital, then rehab and was doing well since he was discharged. John called last week and said put on the tea kettle Bobbie and I are on our way over. Dennis and I were so lucky to see him. He looked so good and he said he was feeling good. We are all going to miss John." I had the pleasure of sitting with fellow Precinct 2 member O'Meara at Town Meeting for many years. He sat right behind me when I was vice chairman.
