Nine More Drunk Drivers Arrested During Weekend Patrol Surge on Routes 24/195 The following is from the Massachusetts State Police: Massachusetts State Police Troop D continued their patrol initiative on Routes 24 and 195 in southeastern Massachusetts. The saturation patrols were deployed on both Friday and Saturday nights in the overnight hours. There were a total of 9 OUI arrests, 14 arrests for other activities (warrants, etc.), 8 criminal summons issued and 334 civil motor vehicle issued this past weekend. After interviewing the three finalists for the position last Thursday (September 13), the Stoughton Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Yaitanes Room on the third floor of the Town Hall to decide who will be Stoughton's next permanent Town Manager. Shayla Lutz, 3, of Stoughton, died following a tragic accident on Sept. 14 when she was struck by a box truck in front of the Hansen School. Visiting hours are scheduled for Sept. 18 and her funeral is scheduled for Sept. 19.

SHEW IS BEING LESS THAN TRUTHFUL. While Shew was in Rye, NY, the same Mayor that hired him, fired him and it was for lots of reasons too. Shew's firing was not political nor based on an election. He was warned by the sitting City Council in the summer of 2008 that he wasn't doing his job to their satisfaction.
