The following is from the Schlossberg & Solomon Memorial Chapel website: Simma H. (Kabler) Kuznitz Simma H. (Kabler) Kuznitz, of Stoughton, passed away on Saturday, March 30. Loving mother of AJ Kuznitz and his wife Chrissy of Norton; Ronda Healey and Bob Kepner of NH; and Eric Kuznitz and his wife Karen of Stoughton. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Jeremy, Adam, Eric, Brien, Colin, Shannon, Isabella and Brandon. Dear sister of Edward Kabler of CA and the late Fay, Carol and Nelson Kabler and Leatrice Granoff. Service was held at the Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel in Canton on April 3. Burial followed at Temple Emanuel Memorial Park Cemetery in Randolph. William J. Cronin William J. Cronin, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of 62 years of the late Alice M. (Stevens) Cronin. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Dorchester before graduating from Jamaica Plain High School, Class of 1947. He was a resident of Stoughton for 40 years and previously lived in Brookline for over 25 years. Mr. Cronin served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a partner of the Forest Floor Division of the Maltby Company for 20 years before being starting his own company, BMB Logging where he worked for over 20 years. James E. "Jake" Hoffman James E. "Jake" Hoffman, 21, died unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 in Amherst, MA after being caught in an apartment fire. He was the beloved son of David M. and Anne (Morrissey) Hoffman of Stoughton. Born in Stoughton, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 2009. In addition to his parents, Jake is survived by his sister Nichole C. Hoffman and his brother Riordan J. A. Hoffman both of Stoughton. Jodi A. (Meadows) Catania Jodi A. (Meadows) Catania, 37, died Sunday, December 30 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after suffering complications from a fall. She was the beloved wife of William L. Catania, Jr. Born in Stoughton, she was a longtime resident of Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Jodi worked as a paramedic for Cataldo Ambulance for over one year and also worked for Medflight. Previously, she worked as a dispatcher for Stoughton Fire Department and Norwell Fire Department. William P. Hammel, Jr. William P. Hammel, Jr., 62, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home in East Falmouth on Sunday, December 23. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Jones) Hammel. Son of William P. and Barbara A. (Homer) Hammel of Stoughton, he was born in Brookline. He was a resident of Stoughton for most of his life and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1968. He resided in East Falmouth for the past 2 years. Mr. Hammel served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He worked for the Stoughton DPW for 40 years, retiring 2 years ago as the Assistant Superintendent. Mr. Hammel was a member of the VFW Post 1645 in Stoughton. Raul Costa Raul Monte Brasil Costa, a resident of Stoughton since 1958, died peacefully at home on Friday Oct. 12. He was 86. Mr. Costa was the loving husband of Mary A. (Fernandes) Costa for over 54 years. Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, Mr. Costa was the son of the late Antonio and Maria Diamantina Dacosta Melo. He worked for the Draper Brothers Company in Canton for many years until his retirement in 1991. Mr. Costa is lovingly remembered by his family as being a family man who loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. Costa is survived by his son, Anthony Costa and his wife Lassalete of Taunton. He was the loving grandfather of Gabriella, Isabella and Cristina. Sara “Sadie” (Lombardi) Estabrook Sara “Sadie” (Lombardi) Estabrook, age 96 of Stoughton, formerly of Canton, passed away August 16, 2012 at the Copley at Stoughton. Born in Canton, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Carmela (Gallo) Lombardi. Sara lived in Canton most of her life prior to moving to Stoughton in 1991. She was the wife of Donald Estabrook who died in 1988. Sara was a graduate of St. John’s High School in Canton. For most of her life she was a wife and mother. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide at the Lt. Peter Hanson School in Canton from 1970 to 1979. The children loved her and she loved being with them.
