Stoughton Police are investigating a pair of armed robberies which took place at Fairy Tales Formals and Rite Aid last week. Police received a call at 3:11 p.m. March 14 reporting a robbery at Fairy Tales Formals, located at 761 Washington St. in the downtown. Executive Officer Robert Devine said a man walked into the store and stated that he had a gun, stole a few hundred dollars in cash, and then fled on foot. The suspect, described to police as a black male, approximately 40 to 45 years old, with a stalky build, wearing black pants and a grey hoodie at the time, did not show the gun during the robbery, Devine said. The alleged incident, which resulted in the arrests of a Stoughton teen and an Easton teen, occurred Monday near Frothingham Park in Easton.
Two teens, one from Stoughton, and the other from Easton, were arrested by Easton Police Monday after allegedly robbing and assaulting another teen. Michael Bunce-Grenon, 19, of Dennison Court in Stoughton was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and robbery. A 15-year-old Easton juvenile was arrested on the same charges. Police Chief Allen Krajcik said the incident occurred March 4 at approximately 4 p.m. near Frothingham Park in Easton. A Fall River man has been identified as the suspect in an alleged attempted robbery of the Dunkin Donuts inside the Gulf Station on Dykeman Way in Stoughton January 17.
The man who was captured on surveillance footage attempting to rob the Dunkin Donuts inside the Gulf station on Dykeman Way in Stoughton, right near Route 24 and the Avon line, has been identified as Steven Vidinha of Fall River, according to the website MassMostWanted.com. Warrants are being sought for his arrest, according to MassMostWanted.com. The suspect is described as a "white male with some facial hair (unshaven) approximately 5'06" to 5'10" [tall]," MassMostWanted reports. He may have been driving a gray/silver vehicle. Four Arrested After Brawl Breaks Out at Stoughton Baby Shower A baby shower at Club Luis de Camoes on Porter Street in Stoughton the evening of Saturday, Jan. 12 turned into a full-fledged brawl that took 20 police officers nearly an hour to quell. Four from Brockton ended up getting arrested, including one juvenile. Nearly 200 people, including children, were at the baby shower, which started at 9 p.m. A fight, which quickly escalated, broke out a little after 11:30 p.m. Stoughton Police responded, but needed assistance from three other local police departments as well as the State Police and Norfolk County Sheriff's Office to quell the brawl. Drug Arrest A call for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Burger King on Park Street in Stoughton resulted in the arrest of a Brockton man the evening of August 14. According to the police log, an employee at the 1333 Park St. Burger King called Stoughton Police at 6:23 p.m. on August 14 stating that there was a male party in a blue pickup truck "slumped over the steering wheel." Michael Anthony Citrone, 29, of Brockton, was arrested for possession of Class A, B and E drugs. The Stoughton Fire Department also responded to the scene and transported Citrone to the hospital. An unidentified male allegedly stole a donation box from the Park St. Dunkin Donuts on Saturday, March 3.
Stoughton Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly stole a donation box from a Dunkin Donuts in Stoughton this past Saturday, according to the Stoughton Police Department’s Facebook Page. At 7:40 p.m. on March 3, the suspect “stole a donation box from the counter of the Dunkin Donuts on Park St.” next to Bob’s Foodmart. The screen image from the surveillance video released by Stoughton Police shows what appears to be a white male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, with the hood placed over his head. “Anyone with any information as to his identity is asked to contact Det. Jim O'Connor at 781-344-2424,” the SPD posted on Facebook.

Stoughton Police arrested an 18-year-old on Monday for allegedly breaking into a Stoughton home and stealing jewelry.
Persistent questioning from Detective Jim O’Connor of the Stoughton Police Department led to solving a break-in at a Stoughton home, according to the Stoughton Police Facebook page. Shane Scipione, 18, of Packard Road in Stoughton, was arrested on Monday, February 27 at 12:04 p.m. for an alleged home break-in on Robinette Road in Stoughton (off Bay Road). Scipione is charged with breaking and entering; larceny under $250; receiving stolen property over $250; and the possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).
