SHS GRAD RAISING FUNDS FOR GIRLS' CHARITY: Jenna Policow, a 2010 graduate of Stoughton High School, is a junior at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She will be running in the Philadelphia Half Marathon this weekend, raising funds for Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run, according to its website, is a "non-profit prevention program that uses the power of running to help prepare preteen and early teen girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The program focuses on building self-esteem and improving emotional and physical health, recognizing that every girl is special, that every girl is strong, that every girl is a winner." I'm glad it did well, Justin. The Life Teen program at Immaculate Conception Church is a wonderful thing for teens. I have supported it since I attended my first Mass there a decade or two ago. more ›
