LORI MCKENNA RELEASING NEW Album: Stoughton's own singer-songwriter, nationally-acclaimed Lori McKenna, is releasing her six full-length album, "Massachusetts," officially on April 23.   It will kick off with two pre-release shows at Club Passim in Cambridge, on April 4th and 5th.  Both nights will have two shows - at 7 and 9:30. Cost is $35 at the door.   McKenna, who received national recognition when she penned "Fireflies" and a couple of other songs for Faith Hill (which sold over a million copies and landed at #1), was also featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show (when people watched it on network TV.) That appearance culminated in a national record deal for McKenna, with Warner Brothers Nashville.  And, she toured with Hill, and Hill's …

Stoughton's Party All Night Long Holding Annual March Madness Fundraiser

The March Madness fundraiser to help support the annual all-night lock-in graduation party for Stoughton High seniors, will take place Saturday, March 16 at the Portuguese National Club in Stoughton.

The following is from Party All Night Long: Party All Night Long (PANL) is hosting its third annual March Madness fundraiser on Saturday, March 16 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Portuguese National Club, 21 Railroad Ave. in Stoughton. Past events has been so successful, this year it has been moved to a larger venue. While the Cash Elimination Raffle tickets (the chance to win $3,000 cash and three additional prizes of $500 each) have already sold out, there are still tickets available ($20 each) for the March Madness event itself.  March Madness features live music by Stoughton’s own Jack Raeke and “The Standards", appetizers, desserts, a silent auction, raffles and door prizes. PANL FUNRAISER A ROUSING SUCCESS! The Party All Night Long (PANL) Steering Committee was looking to top last year's $8,000 fundraiser and they succeeded. A capacity crowd at the Club Luis de Camoes on March 16 enjoyed the music of Beware of Doug, and some amazing desserts and food. There was a fun silent auction, and an exciting cash raffle with $4,500 in total prizes! Rick Kaplan took home $500. Lee Elmowitz won $200, and spent most of it at the bar, treating friends to drinks (glad to have been a recipient!) The BIG winner was Stoughton CPA Brenda McGivern who won $3,000 in the Big Elimination Cash Raffle. But, the biggest winner was the Stoughton High Class of 2012 graduates, who will once again enjoy a SAFE all-night long party this …

DAWE SCHOOL PTO FAIR!  My kids always looked forward to this event.  This year it comes on Saturday, March 17, from  10 a.m.-2 p.m.  Of course, it takes place at Dawe Elementary School, 131 Pine Street, in Stoughton. Party All Night Long (PANL) is hosting its Second Annual March Madness Fundraiser on Friday, March 16, 2012, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Club Luis de Cameos, 76 Porter Street, Stoughton. Party All Night Long is Gearing Up For Another Successful Year

Party All Night Long (PANL) is in its 13th year and is the annual post-graduation bash for the Stoughton High School senior class.

Just a few hours after the conclusion of the Stoughton High commencement exercises for the Class of 2011, the new graduates made their way to the O’Donnell Middle School for Party All Night Long (PANL), the annual alcohol-free and drug-free post-graduation bash. The Class of 2011 entered the middle school to see it transformed into an airport, complete with a luggage carousel, an arrival and departure board, manikins dressed as stewardesses and TSA airport security agents, and even a fake metal detector (although it sure fooled a lot of people entering the party). Inside there were Vegas-style games, a live DJ, tattoo artists (they were temporary tattoos), caricaturists, a hypnotist, inflatable play structures, and an endless array of late…
