The Stoughton High boys' basketball team was in action Tuesday night to kick off the second half of the season, defeating visiting North Attleboro 85-55. With the win, the Knights improve to 5-6 and find themselves needing to get 5 more wins in the last 9 games to qualify for the MIAA state tournament. After a back and forth first quarter the Knights played with a sense of urgency throughout the game, in what was truly a must win situation for Stoughton. Stoughton led by six, 17-11 at the end of the first quarter, and then started to open things up, taking a 39-24 lead into the half, and a 61-39 lead after three quarters, before coming away with the 30-point win.
