Gallery: Stoughton High Girls' Basketball Cruises Past Milford

After jumping out to an early lead and holding Milford scoreless over the first 5:05 of Tuesday's game, the Stoughton High girls' basketball team cruised to a 59-32 win at home. With the win, Stoughton improves to 8-5 on the season, snapping a three-game losing streak. Milford, meanwhile, falls to 0-14. This is the Black Knights' second win of the season against the Scarlet Hawks, with Stoughton earning a 28-point win on the road back in December. This time around, Stoughton led 17-6 after the first and took a 36-17 lead into the half en route to a 27-point win. Nicole Daniels led the Black Knights with 18 points. Strong First Quarter Leads Stoughton High Girls' Basketball to Victory at Milford

Setting the tone with a strong first quarter of play, the Stoughton High girls' basketball team came away with a 28-point win at Milford Friday night.

With 11 different players scoring, the Stoughton High girls' basketball team won at Milford in convincing fashion Friday night, 49-21. With the win Stoughton improves to 2-1 and 1-1 in the Hockomock League's Davenport Division, bouncing back from Tuesday's 48-27 loss to Sharon at home. Friday night Stoughton jumped out to a 15-5 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. The Black Knights took a 29-13 lead over Milford into the half, and a 41-17 lead into the final quarter of play, eventually coming away with a 28-point victory.
