Stoughton High Drama Club Commemorates Holocaust with Performance of "And a Child Shall Lead"
The Stoughton High drama club recently presented its fall production, "And a Child Shall Lead," a play about children living in a concentration camp during the Holocaust.
The Stoughton High School Drama Department put on their fall show "And a Child Shall Lead" by Michael Slade, November 16-18 in the Stoughton High School auditorium in front of large crowds at all three performances. The play's plot was about children living in Terezin concentration camp located in the Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic) during the Holocaust. The children, who instead of trying to escape, write a newspaper and become involved with various forms of art as a way to maintain innocence and stay alive. The play was directed by Megan DeSimone and Kasey Sheehan.
