Man Arrested in Stoughton For Third Drunk Driving Offense

Drunk Driving An Avon man was arrested in the early morning hours of April 4 for allegedly driving drunk for a third time. Stoughton Police made a motor vehicle stop at 1:13 a.m. on April 4 at the intersection of Page St. and Maple St., and placed two men in custody. Paulo J. 90-Year-Old Stoughton Driver Charged in Park Street Hit-and-Run

Stoughton Police announced Wednesday morning that a 90-year-old Stoughton man was charged in the Dec. 8 hit-and-run on Park St. in Stoughton which sent a 15-year-old male pedestrian to the hospital.

The driver involved in the Dec. 8 hit and run on Park Street in Stoughton, which sent a teenage boy to the hospital, has been charged, the Stoughton Police announced in a release on the Department's Facebook page Wednesday morning. Harry Minassian, 90, of 433 Lincoln St. in Stoughton, is being charged with leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury; failure to stay in marked lanes; leaving the scene of property damage; and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, according to the release. The vehicle Minassian was operating at the time, a white 1996 Cadillac Seville, was turned over to police last week for processing. Stoughton Police Still Looking for Hit-and-Run Driver

The Stoughton Fire Department transported a 15-year-old male to Boston Medical Center Saturday evening, Dec. 8 after he was hit by a car while riding his bike on Park Street in Stoughton. The car fled the scene.

Stoughton Police are still looking for the driver in Saturday evening's hit and run on Park Street, which sent a 15-year-old male to the hospital with multi-system trauma. Authorities, however, are working off a vague description of the vehicle. Police are looking for a light in color, older model Cadillac with probable front end damage, Stoughton Police Executive Officer Robert Devine said Monday morning. Lt. Buddy O'Neil of the Stoughton Fire Department said the teen was riding his bike in the breakdown lane on Park Street (Route 27 South) when a car hit him and knocked him to the ground near the Chateau at 1165 Park St. at 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 8. A 15-year-old male was transported to Boston Medical Center Saturday evening after he was hit by a motor vehicle while riding his bike on Park St. in Stoughton in what is an apparent hit-and-run, according to Lt. Buddy O'Neil of the Stoughton Fire Department. O'Neil said the teen was riding his bike in the breakdown lane on Park St. (Route 27 South) when a car hit him and knocked him to the ground near the Chateau at 1165 Park St. at 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 8. The car kept traveling towards Brockton. Stoughton Police and Fire responded. A Medflight was unavailable due to the weather, O'Neil said, so the Stoughton Fire Department transported the victim to BMC via ambulance. The Stoughton Police charged a Canton woman for her role in a hit-and-run car crash at the intersection of Central and Washington Streets July 8 in Stoughton.

The driver who took off in the hit and run car crash Sunday evening in Stoughton has been identified and charged, the Stoughton Police Department announced Wednesday on the Department's Facebook page. Melissa Degrande, 38, of 3213 Windsor Woods in Canton has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury; leaving the scene of an accident with property damage; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; and failure to stop at a red light. Sunday's hit-and-run crash is the latest accident at Stoughton's Central St. and Washington St. intersection, which has been named one of the most hazardous intersections in the state.

A hit-and-run accident Sunday, July 8 at 8 p.m. at the intersection of Central and Washington Streets in Stoughton sent three to the hospital, including one who was transported to Boston via MedFlight with serious injuries. The crash once again brings attention to one of the most dangerous and congested intersections in town. The car crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on July 8 at the intersection of Central and Washington Streets in Stoughton.

An apparent hit-and-run accident Sunday night in Stoughton sent three to the hospital, including one who was transported to Boston via MedFlight with serious injuries, according to fire and police officials. The Stoughton Fire and Police Departments responded to the intersection of Washington and Central Streets in Stoughton shortly after 8 p.m. on July 8 for a hit-and-run accident.
