A ROAST WELL DONE: The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce roasted Stoughton real estate legend Fred Yaitanes this past Saturday night at the Portuguese National Club. Fred, along with his lovely bride Nadine Israel, owns the Fred & Nadine Realtor Team of Stoughton, which runs out of the Keller Williams in Easton. Unfortunately, Nadine is recovering from back surgery and was unable to make the event. But, a number of roasters stepped to the podium to gently scorch the Stoughton Chamber and SOLA Board member. Get to know Stoughton realtors and active volunteers Fred Yaitanes and Nadine Israel of the "Fred and Nadine Team."
You've probably seen their signs in front of a home for sale or seen them at an event around town. Get to know Stoughton's "Fred and Nadine Team" - the real estate duo of Fred Yaitanes (a 3rd generation Stoughtonite - his grandparents settled in Stoughton in the 1940s) and Nadine Israel. Patch spoke with Yaitanes and Israel about their community involvment and what keeps them going. Patch: When did "Fred and Nadine" become a team? REAL ESTATE ROAST ROSTER: The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce is roasting another "victim" on Saturday, March 2. After previous roasts of Terry Schneider, Francis T. Crimmins, Jr. and Mike Sammarco, this year's "roastee" is Stoughton real estate legend Fred Yaitanes. Fred, along with his lovely bride Nadine Israel, owns the Fred & Nadine Realtor Team of Stoughton, which runs out of the Keller Williams Office in Easton. Fred is an active member of the Food Pantry Foundation of Stoughton, and recently directed a murder mystery at Town Hall that raised over $3,000 for SOLA (Support Our Library Association). STOUGHTON CONNECTION ON CINEMAX! This Friday, January 11 at 10 p.m. is the premiere of the new series "Banshee" on Cinemax. The pilot episode is directed by Greg Yaitanes, the son of realtor Fred Yaitanes of the Fred & Nadine Team (and a member of the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.) Greg is also the executive producer of this new series. In addition, Greg's brother Jason's company, "Tin Punch Media," did the opening sequence and credits for the series! As Jason said Thursday to Fred, "The entire hour will be done by your sons, Pop."
