The following is from the Farley Funeral Home website:  Bertha Pearl (Nogler) White Bertha Pearl (Nogler) White, 85, a of Stoughton, died at Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain on Saturday, April 13. She was the wife of the late Robert J. White. Daughter of the late Horace Henry Nogler and Florence Louise (Pentz) Nogler, she was born in Nictaux County, Nova Scotia. Mrs. White was a resident of Stoughton for two years after living in Sharon for over 10 years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. White is survived by her children, Robert J. White and his wife Marion of Attleboro, Karen A. Kronk and Janice L. Dabrila and her husband Linas all of Stoughton and Laurie J. White of Falmouth. Maria (Tavares) Medeiros, 79, a longtime Stoughton resident, passed away April 14. James E. Flint, of Stoughton, an Army veteran, passed away on April 8 at the age of 46.

Born and raised in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, she moved to Stoughton in 1968. Mrs. Medeiros worked at Corcoran Shoe in Stoughton for 23 years and Spoontigues for 17 years before retiring at age 70. She was a member of the Sociedade Filarmonica De Sao Joao and the Portuguese National Club both in Stoughton. He was the husband of 61 years of Alvina L. (Lucio) Garcia. Born and raised in Flores, Azores, Portugal, he moved to Stoughton in 1981. Garcia worked at Qual-Craft in Stoughton for seven years before retiring in 1988. He also worked at Albert's Restaurant in Stoughton for several years. Garcia was a member of the Sao Joao Filarmonica Band in Stoughton. He loved music and soccer, especially Benfica. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was the husband of Maria Fatima (Pimentel) Bento. Son of David Bento Rodrigues of Stoughton and the late Ines Espirito Santo (Ponte) Rodrigues, he was born, raised and educated in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal. He came to the United States in 1970 and settled in Stoughton. He worked as a welder for General Dynamics in Quincy for several years and then for Suburban Cleaners in Norwood. Patrick J. Penney Patrick J. Penney, 55, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after being stricken ill at home. He was the husband of 18 years of Carla M. (O'Connor) Penney of Stoughton. Born in Weymouth, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Penney was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He worked as a mechanic and as a warehouse worker at Lotus Software for several years before health issues lead to his retirement.
