Frederick King, 64, was arrested around 11 a.m. on July 29 , charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Earlier on Sunday, around 9:15 a.m., police received a call from Page's on Pearl St. reporting a homeless male who was "annoying customers." A woman was found “slumped over the wheel” of her car with two small children in the vehicle early Wednesday morning at a Stoughton Mobil station.
Stoughton Police arrested a Pittsfield woman for drug possession and child endangerment Wednesday at 4 a.m. According to the Stoughton Police Facebook page, Officer Marc Baldner, on his first shift since completing field training, saw a suspicious running vehicle behind the Mobil Station at the corner of Central and Washington Streets. Baldner found a female driver, Meagen Heren, 31, of Pittsfield, "slumped over the wheel [with] two small children in the car,” according to Stoughton Police. The children, a three-year-old boy and two-year-old girl, both belonging to Heren, were found in a “disheveled” state, with food on them and with their diapers filled, Acting Police Chief Robert Devine said. Stoughton Police served a warrant, making a pair of arrests Thursday.
The Stoughton Police Department served a warrant Thursday afternoon, which resulted in the arrest of a man and woman who were found with drugs and illegal fireworks. Detectives under the direction of Detective Sgt. Robert Welch served a search warrant on Pinetree Road at 1:30 p.m. According to the Stoughton Police Department Facebook page, 53-year-old Donna Hanrahan and 25-year-old Robert Hanrahan were arrested and charged with the possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute (subsequent), conspiracy to violate drug law, and the possession of illegal fireworks. A cache of percocet pills, suboxone and other opiate derivative drugs were seized along with cash, according to Police.

Police arrested a Brockton man Tuesday night in Stoughton for the possession of class B and C substances.
Stoughton Police made a drug arrest Tuesday evening thanks to a call from a concerned resident and the work of one of the department’s canines. Police responded to a call regarding a suspicious vehicle on Wheeler Circle Tuesday at 8:26 p.m. Officer Brian Holmes and his K-9 Annie, assisted by Officers Shawn Faria and Marc Baldner, found Percocet, Xanax, Oxycodone, and marijuana in the possession of 22-year-old David Desjardins of Brockton, according to Acting Police Chief Robert Devine. Desjardins was arrested and was charged with possession of class B and C substances. Devine said police found a backpack full of drugs. Stoughton Police arrested the Canton Animal Control Officer after an alleged drug deal last week while driving Canton Town Van.
The Canton Animal Control officer arrested last week allegedly bought cocaine from a drug dealer while in his Town of Canton Animal Control van in Stoughton. Paul Bastable was arrested on Aug. 8 when police spotted a “small glassine baggie containing a white substance” in plain sight in his van, according to a Stoughton Police report written by Detective Erik Feist. The substance tested positive for cocaine, according to the police report. Bastable, 40, was found to be in possession of four grams of cocaine, valued at $400, according to police.
