A 26-year-old Stoughton man has been charged with smuggling drugs (believed to be Suboxone) into the Norfolk County House of Correction, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.

The following is from the office of Norfolk County District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey: A 26-year-old Stoughton man has been arrested and charged with allegedly smuggling drugs into the Norfolk County House of Correction in Dedham by mailing envelopes doctored to appear as if they came from area law firms to avoid detection, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey. “Sheriff Mike Bellotti contacted us last month to begin a joint investigation based on information that his department had developed,” District Attorney Morrissey said. “With their partnership, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to our drug unit executed a search warrant [Tuesday] afternoon on a package that had arrived at the facility. …

"Several Shots" Fired on Rayburn Road in Stoughton Monday Night Stoughton Police received multiple calls Monday, Jan. 28 around 10:15 p.m. about hearing gunshots in the vicinity of Rayburn Road in Stoughton. Stoughton Police arrested a 28-year-old Attleboro man for drug possession following a motor vehicle stop Tuesday in Stoughton.
An Attleboro man was arrested for drug possession Tuesday morning in Stoughton following a motor vehicle stop on Central St. Stoughton Police found crack cocaine, Oxycodone pills and marijuana after searching the vehicle, according to a release on the Department's Facebook page. As a result, Adam Guzman, 28, of Attleboro, was charged with two counts of possession of a class B substance and was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. According to the release, Stoughton's newest police officer Daniel Carmichael ran the registration of a red Honda Accord and found it to be revoked. Two men and a woman were arrested on drug charges in the parking lot of the Lodge at Stoughton apartment complex on Technology Center Dr. in Stoughton in the early morning hours of Sept. 27, according to the Stoughton Police Department's Facebook page. Stoughton Police Sgt. John Bonney "encountered the three suspects in the parking lot of the Lodge at Technology Center Dr.," at 3:08 a.m. on Sept. 27, the SPD Facebook page reported. According to the police log, an employee at the 1333 Park St. Burger King called Stoughton Police at 6:23 p.m. on August 14 stating that there was a male party in a blue pickup truck "slumped over the steering wheel."
