Norfolk County DA Offers Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Addiction Prevention Posters Online

Norfolk County DA Michael Morrissey has produced posters with domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse and prescription drug disposal resources for the Norfolk County region. They can be printed from the Media/Press section of www.norfolkda.com.

Morrissey: The office of Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey has posted updated regional domestic violence, sexual assault and substance abuse hotline posters. Any business, school or organization that wishes to post credible, up-to-date resources on those topics, or the Prescription Drug Disposal Partnership between DA Morrissey and local police departments can print copies of these posters in the Media section of www.norfolkda.com. CLERGY GET TRAINING ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE PREVENTION: More than 60 clergy members from across Norfolk County, including Rev. Jean Lenk from the First Congregational Church in Stoughton, Rev. Stanley Schultz from Faith Baptist Church in Stoughton and Rabbi Joseph Meszler of Temple Sinai in Sharon, attended a training session hosted by Norfolk County District Attorney Michael W. Peg’s Posse Looks to Raise Awareness for Domestic Violence

Peg’s Posse, a group organized by Stoughton’s Peg Carbone, will be taking part in a walk to raise awareness for domestic violence Saturday, October 1 in Brockton. Carbone is looking for locals to help the cause and join her team or donate.

Peg Carbone, the Stoughton resident known for her efforts in collecting items for the town’s food pantries each Thursday, is stepping out for a different, yet equally important cause this weekend—helping victims of domestic violence. Carbone is organizing a team of walkers, called “Peg’s Posse,” to partake in the Hearts and Hands for Hope 5K Run/Walk to End Domestic Violence this weekend in Brockton. She is looking for people to either join her team or donate to the cause.
