Stoughton Gets Into Christmas Spirit

Sights and sounds from the town's annual Christmas Parade.

With just two weeks left before Christmas, Santa Claus took some time out of his busy schedule to partake in Stoughton's annual Christmas Parade this past Saturday.  Santa Claus was joined by his better half, Mrs. Claus, with the two riding in a sleigh at the back of the parade. The parade started a little after 2 p.m. at Stoughton High School, before taking a turn onto Pearl Street, Central Street and Washington Street, with floats arriving in the downtown for the conclusion of the parade about an hour later.  Hundreds of residents lined Washington Street in the center of town to catch a glimpse of the floats and entertainment. A police and fire patrol led the parade, with the Stoughton High Marching Band and Color Guard following behind…
