Stoughton's Andrews Posthumously Inducted into Catholic Memorial Athletic Hall of Fame

Ralph "Gus" Andrews was the head basketball coach at Catholic Memorial from 1972-1982. The longtime Stoughton resident passed away in 2011 at the age of 67.

The Catholic Memorial High School Athletic Hall of Fame posthumously enshrined Ralph "Gus" Andrews, a longtime Stoughton resident, and former CM basketball coach, as part of the school's 2012 induction class. Andrews, who lived in Stoughton for 37 years, passed away at his Stoughton home on March 30, 2011, at the age of 67. He still has family living in town. Andrews was the head basketball coach at the all-boys Catholic high school from 1972-1982, winning three consecutive Catholic Conference titles ('73-'75). He was also a former High School Basketball Coach of the Year recipient. The Induction took place Nov. 23 at Moseley's On The Charles in Dedham.
