Stoughton Police Arrest Suspect From Weekend House Break-in

Police arrested a 23-year-old Stoughton man for allegedly breaking into a home on Ewing Dr. on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Stoughton Police arrested a 23-year-old suspect in an alleged house break-in on Saturday, according to Acting Police Chief Robert Devine. Nicholas Anderson, 23, of 70 Phillips Ave. in Stoughton was charged with breaking and entering. Stoughton Police Officers Owens and Curtis responded to a breaking and entering call on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 4:43 p.m. on Ewing Dr.   Devine said the homeowner entered the home, heard a commotion and saw the suspect jump out a second floor window, land on the deck, and take off.   Under the direction of Lt. Wohlgemuth and Canton K-9 Officer Brown, a track successfully led police to the perpetrators home on Philips Ave. and the arrest was made, Devine said. Canton Police Arrest Brothers in Dunkin' Donuts Robbery

Canton Police arrested two brothers Sunday morning alleged to have committed a rash of robberies at Dunkin' shops across the Bay State, including in Stoughton.

Canton Police arrested two brothers—Peter J. Wallace of Dorchester and Wayne M. Wallace of Quincy—early Sunday morning after being caught breaking into the Neponset Street Dunkin' Donuts in Canton. The pair, who are suspected in a rash of Dunkin' Donuts burglaries around the Bay State, including in Stoughton, allegedly used a crow bar to pry open the drive through window, Canton Police Chief Ken Berkowitz told Patch Monday. The Wallaces, who were wearing homemade masks during the break-in, sped off when Canton Police arrived on scene after the burglar alarm went off at 12:18 a.m. Sunday, Berkowitz said.
