NEW RESTAURANT APPROVED: CV Cafe is a familiar name. There are places as far away as Canada and Australia with restaurants by the same name. But, Tuesday night selectmen approved a husband and wife team opening a 24-seat restaurant by that name in a space occupied by three now defunct eateries. The Cafe is scheduled to open in the coming week at 2 Canton Street, which formerly housed a hot dog place, an Italian restaurant, and a Middle Eastern restaurant. It's part of the Trackside Plaza near the train station. We wish them luck. In Steve Kelley, they have one of the best landlords in town.
