CHRISTMAS FOR THE VETERANS: The second Christmas Party put on for hospitalized veterans at the Brockton Veterans Administration Hospital by AMVETS District 6, was held last Thursday, Dec. 22, and there were plenty of familiar faces in the crowd. District 6 is made up of members from the Stoughton and Randolph AMVETS Posts. Along with serving ice cream, cake and drinks, presents were handed out to all the veterans. In addition to Christmas parties, District 6 throws ice cream parties at the Brockton VA Hospital twice a month, hosts off-station parties for the patients at the Randolph AMVETS Post, and puts on an annual summer barbecue.
