Stoughton Fire Department Looking to Extinguish Breast Cancer with T-Shirt Sales
The Stoughton Fire Department is selling t-shirts with pink ribbons this October as part of a breast cancer awareness fundraiser.
For the second straight year, Stoughton Firefighters are selling pink ribbon t-shirts in the hopes of extinguishing breast cancer. In August of 2010, the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) voted to add Breast Cancer Awareness as a charitable cause each October, and the Stoughton Firefighters IAFF Local 1512 have followed suit with breast cancer t-shirt sales. The t-shirts are black with pink writing on the front and back. On the back of the shirt there are two large pink ribbons in place of the two o’s in Stoughton (see photo gallery). The Stoughton firefighters are wearing these shirts this October, and are selling them to the general public. The t-shirts are $15 and 100 percent of the proceeds go to breast cancer awareness …
