Single-Car Rollover on Route 24 in Stoughton Sends Three to Hospital

The Stoughton, Avon and Randolph Fire Departments responded to a single car rollover on Route 24 northbound near the Route 139 overpass Wednesday morning.

A single-car rollover Wednesday morning on Route 24 northbound in Stoughton near the Route 139 overpass sent three to the hospital, according to Stoughton Fire Captain Bob O'Donnell. The crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m.  The vehicle, a SUV (Jeep), was traveling northbound, and was cut off by another vehicle, causing it to rollover, O'Donnell said. The operator was ejected through the moonroof, and ended up by the guardrail in the median. She was transported to Boston Medical Center by an Avon ambulance, O'Donnell said. The other two passengers in the car, one in the front and one in the rear, were not ejected. The Stoughton Fire Department also transported them to Boston Medical Center. UPDATE: Man Shot at Technology Center Drive Apartment Complex in Stoughton

A man was transported to Boston Medical Center with a gunshot wound Monday afternoon, suffered at the Lodge at Stoughton on Technology Center Drive. Police believe to have a "person of interest in the case."

A male was shot outside of an apartment building at the Lodge at Stoughton on Technology Center Drive, off Route 139, Monday afternoon, according to Stoughton Police Detective Jim O'Connor. The call came in at 12:32 p.m., Stoughton Police Executive Officer Robert Devine said. The victim was transported by the Stoughton Fire Department via ambulance to Boston Medical Center with what is believed to be a single gun shot wound to the lower back, O'Connor said. There are unconfirmed reports that additional shots were fired. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, Devine said. Man Stabbed in Stoughton Wednesday Evening

A man in his early 40s was stabbed on York St. and was transported to Boston Medical Center.

A man in his early 40s was stabbed late Wednesday evening on York St. in Stoughton, according to Lt. Fran Wohlgemuth of the Stoughton Police Department.  The incident occurred at 245 York St. at 10:44 p.m. on May 16. The suspect is at-large. The male victim was stabbed on his left side, below the ribs, Lt. Wohlgemuth said. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center via ground transport because a MedFlight was not available, Lt. Wohlgemuth said. A suspect has not been identified at this time. Lt. Wohlgemuth said the incident is under investigation. Head-On Car Crash in Stoughton Sends Two to Hosptial with Life Threatening Injuries

The two-car crash occurred late Wednesday night in Stoughton.

A head-on collision between two vehicles late Wednesday night in Stoughton sent two women to the hospital with life threatening injuries, Captain Don Jasmin of the Stoughton Fire Department said. The crash occurred on March 21 at 11:03 p.m. at the intersection of Park and Turnpike Streets.  A MedFlight was requested but was unavailable due to foggy weather conditions where the helicopter was stationed, Jasmin said. Instead, the two patients were transported to the hospital via ambulance, one to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, and the other to Boston Medical Center.  Stoughton's Engine 1 and 4 and Ambulance 1 and 2 responded to the scene. Man MedFlighted After Motorcycle Crash in Stoughton

A 30-year-old male was transported to Boston Medical Center via MedFlight after his motorcycle collided with a car early Saturday evening in Stoughton. A female passenger in the car was also transported to Good Samaritan with minor injuries.

Stoughton Fire and Police responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a car early Saturday evening, which sent two to the hospital, including one who was transported via MedFlight with serious injuries. The accident occurred just outside downtown Stoughton, at the intersections of Union St. and Porter St. at 5:55 p.m. on Saturday, Stoughton Fire Captain Robert O’Donnell said. The motorcycle hit the right passenger side door of a car, O’Donnell said. The operator of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old male, was unconscious on the scene, having sustained facial and head injuries. Car Strikes Utility Pole on Central St. in Stoughton, Knocking Out Power, Closing Road

The accident occurred early Wednesday morning. Just minutes later, the Stoughton Fire Department also responded to a basement fire on Turnpike St.

A single car struck a utility pole on Central St. early Wednesday morning, ejecting the male operator from the vehicle. Just minutes later, the Stoughton Fire Department also responded to a call in North Stoughton, this one a basement fire on Turnpike St. There were no injuries reported. The car accident occurred at 1:27 a.m. on Wednesday, at 1906 Central St., near the intersection with Mill St., Stoughton Fire Captain Robert O’Donnell said. The car struck the pole and the pole broke in half, bringing down wires. The male operator was ejected from the vehicle and found unconscious underneath the front bumper of the car, O’Donnell said.
