Alva Louise (Hipson) Hoadley Alva Louise (Hipson) Hoadley, a longtime resident of Stoughton, passed away after a period of failing health on Monday July 23, 2012. She was 86 years old and the beloved wife of the late Melvin R. Hoadley. Born April 26, 1926 in Boston, she was a daughter to the late Athelston Y. and Eva E. Hipson. Alva was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She married her late husband in 1949, resided in Dorchester and later moved to Stoughton in 1954. Mrs. Hoadley was employed by the Masoneilan Company in Avon, MA for over 17 years. She retired in 1996. Her survivors include her son Wayne of Stoughton, a daughter Lynne and her husband Tim Farina of Carver, her son Alan and his wife Donna also of Stoughton, three grandsons…
