Located at 232 Pearl St. on the corner of Pearl Street and Adams Street, Stoughton High School is the town's onlyMore public high school.  More than 1,100 students attend SHS. SHS offers a wide variety of classes in English, math, science, history, fine arts, world languages, technology, physical education and special education. The school is home of the Black Knights athletics teams, which compete in the highly competitive Hockomock League. The current principal is Matthew Colantonio. 

West Elementary School

West Elementary School, located on Central Street near the District Court House, is one of five elementary schools inMore Stoughton. The principal is Brendan Dearborn. 

The School has a diverse student population that hails from eighteen different countries, and more than 100 students whose second language is English. There are nineteen classroom teachers who are aided by a support staff of more than twenty.

The West School Athletic Complex is behind the School; it includes softball, baseball and open fields, a playground and a walking track.
