Dr. Lloyd established a place where animals could come with their owners if they were sick or not and always be sure to be treated right. The receptionist will be happy to supply a leash free of charge if you do not have one. Our staff is always happy to answer your calls. If your telephone call should necessitate consultation with the doctor, the doctor will attempt to get to the phone as soon as possible for you. If the doctor is not able to respond immediately, please leave your number so your call may be returned as soon as time permits. In general, surgeries are scheduled weekdays and usually require at least a few days’ notice. Your pet should have no food after 10 p.m. the previous night. Most of the time it is okay to have water available the day before, especially in older animals. Upon arriving home after hospitalization, most pets should not have anything orally for a least a few hours - unless you have been instructed otherwise. It is also a good idea to limit your pets? Activity for a few days following a surgical procedure. If you have any problems with your pet such as vomiting, diarrhea, or unusual discharge, please take away all food and water and call us.
