Comedy Meets Rock N' Roll with Steve Sweeney

Boston-based comedian Steve Sweeney will perform at Stoughton High school on Saturday accompanied by Rock Steady, a Bad Company tribute band, as well as a performance by Stoughton-based recording artist Michelle Romeiro and local rocker Joe Kidd. General admission is $20 per person. 

Free kids Triathlon Clinic at 24/7 Family Fitness

This event is designed for kids aged 6 through 15 years and will feature a closed bike/run course, a pool swim with a lifeguard and medals to be awarded. The triathlon will run from 1-4 p.m.

Blue Hills Brewery Summerfest 2014

The Blue Hills Brewery Annual Summerfest will run from 1 to 6 p.m. in neighboring Canton on Saturday. The event will feature locally-brewed beer, a variety of food, activities and live music. 

Old Tyme Field Day at Ames Free Library

51-53 Main St., North Easton

This event will run from 12-5:30 p.m. in neighboring Easton, and will include a nine-hole mini golf course, along with family bocce and a bounce house, as well as face painting, hula hoops and relay races, among other activities. Tickets are $5 per person for $20 for a family of more than four for the day of activities, or $15 per person or $40 for a family of more than four for the day and night activities. 

Jumpin June Craft & Vendor Fair

Whitman Knights of Columbus
1195 Bedford St., Whitman

This fair will include about 30 displays of handcrafts and retail items. Admission and parking are free. A raffle will be held to benefit local causes.
