NRT Spring Farm Festival
Date & Time: Saturday, May 3, 10 a.m.
Location: 307 Main St., North Easton
The National Resources Trust of Easton will host a Spring Farm Festival, formerly known as Farm and Fun Day, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event will feature farm animals, games, food, prizes, crafts and music from AMP 103.3 and Mix 104.1. Attendees will learn about backyard chickens from a local professional, and the New England Revolution soccer team will be on hand to provide games, prizes and more.
Farmstand Opening Day

The Langwater Farmstand in North Easton will celebrate its fifth season on Saturday, and will be stocked with fresh organic produce, vegetable plants, compost and seeds for gardening, and more. The stand will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. through December.
Craft and Vendor Fair
Date & Time: Saturday, May 3, 10 a.m.
Location: 410 Quincy Ave, Braintree

The South Shore Viking Club in Braintree will host a craft and vendor club to benefit the Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn camp. All proceeds from table sales, baked goods and raffles will be donated to the camp, and the event will feature more than 20 crafters. A kitchen will be open for lunch, as well.
Foley's Backstreet 5K
Date & Time: Sunday, May 4, 10 a.m.
Location: Mass Hospital School, 3 Randolph St., Canton
The second annual Foley's Backstreet 5K will kick off on Sunday to benefit the Mass Hospital School. The race will be held on the grounds of the school, with food and drink following the race. Registration is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the race; registration will be from 10 to 11:45 a.m., with the race kicking off at noon.
Family Fun Day at Maplewood
Date & Time: Sunday, May 4, 10 a.m.
Location: 150 Foundry St., South Easton
A free family fun day will be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event will feature boating, swingshot, pedal karts, GaGa ball, gymnastics, moonwalks, arts and crafts and ice cream, as well as a performance by "Flying High Frisbee Doge"
