Stoughton Town Hall Re-Opens Monday Morning

Stoughton Town Hall will be reopening today at 8:30 a.m. after being closed Friday because of the weather.

The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual meeting and awards ceremony, Monday, Jan. 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at New England Sinai Hospital. Francis T. Crimmins Jr. will be the emcee for the evening. Roger A. Kahan will be introduced as the new chairman. Bob Halloran of Channel 5 will be the guest speaker, following the awards ceremony.

The Stoughton High boys' ice hockey team will be playing Apponequet today at Asiaf Rink in Brockton at 8 p.m.

The Stoughton Public Library Book Discussion Group will be talking about "Defending Jacob," by William Landay, Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m.

There will be morning rain today, which will be tapering off by noon, according to WHDH. It will be near 50 this morning before dropping off into the 30s in the afternoon. Be careful of icy spots in the afternoon and the evening.
