Do a little bit of spring cleaning, show some pride in Stoughton, take your picture and submit it to the Pride of Stoughton photo contest and have the opportunity to win more than $100 in goodies (including gift certificates to local businesses).
Here’s what you need to do:
Join the Stoughton Youth Commission's Youth Advisory Council for this year’s , an annual . It takes place Sunday, April 29 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The event kicks off with a BBQ at the Stoughton Youth Commission building at 110 Rockland Street at noon on the 29th.
After lunch, volunteers will work to improve one of five community areas: the CAPP Playground, Halloran Field, the Train Station, the Community Garden at the Youth Commission, and the Skate Park at the O’Donnell Middle School.
Take a photo of you, your family or your friends participating in a Pride of Stoughton project and uploaded it to Stoughton Patch by clicking on the “Upload Photos and Videos” button above.

If you can’t join an organized event, here are some other ways you can participate in Pride of Stoughton Day:
Clean up your yard * Help your neighbors clean up their yards* Paint your fence * Organize a neighborhood clean up * Organize a group to clean up a public area * Plant flowers in front of your home
All you have to do is submit your picture and you’ll have the chance to win!
Photo contest winners and honorable mentions will be on display at the Stoughton Public Library in May. Winners will be invited to a gallery reception to kick off the photo display.
