Stoughton Lions Club's 2012 Summer Concert Series Starts July 8

The first of six summer concerts sponsored by the Stoughton Lions Club features Political Asylum, an oldies band made up of well-known locals. The opening concert takes place Sunday, July 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Faxon Park.

The Stoughton Lions Club "" for the 2012 summer season begins this Sunday, July 8 at on Park Street, across the street from the Stoughton Public Library.

, an oldies band comprised of well-known locals Marjorie Clapprood, Roy Cohen, Steve Fradkin, Steve Hillman, Steve Tapper and Stoughton Public Schools Superintendent Marguerite Rizzi, takes to the Faxon Park gazebo first, kicking things off on July 8.

All concerts are Sundays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and are free of charge. Concerts are open to all Stoughton residents.

Please bring your own chairs/blankets to sit on. There are no bathroom facilities.

This is the Stoughton Lions Club's 14th Year producing and arranging these free concerts.
