Stoughton's Okeke Among Hockomock Runners on UMass Dartmouth Women's Track Team
Stoughton's Ifeoma Okeke is one of five from Hockomock League schools competing for the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth's women's indoor track team this winter season.
The University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth women's indoor track team has a Hockomock League flavor to it.
Stoughton's Ifeoma Okeke is a freshman sprinter for the Corsairs. The 2012 Stoughton High grad was one of the top performers on the SHS track teams.
In her first year at UMass Dartmouth, she has competed in the first two meets of the winter season, running in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash at the UMass Boston Indoor Invitational and running in the 55-meter dash at the Harvard Open.

She's joined on the UMass Darmouth team by former King Philip standout Lauren Roache, a junior sprinter; Foxborough's Caitlin Dorr, a junior high jumper; Attleboro's Meghan Cutler, a sophomore mid-distance runner and high jumper; and Dana Foley, a freshman hurdler and jumper.
The Corsairs are off until Jan. 12 when they will be competing in the Tufts Invitational.
