After two years of playing on the road due to deteriorating court conditions, the Stoughton High boys' tennis team opened the 2013 spring season at home on newly refurbished courts.

In a match marked by the windy and cold conditions, Stoughton fell 4-1 to visiting Attleboro.

The first doubles tandem of Sheldon Oliveira and Cris Oliveira picked up the team's lone victory, 7-5, 3-6, 6-0.

The other four individual matches went to Attleboro. 

First singles Jalen Joseph dropped his match 3-6, 2-6; second singles Mike Holmes III lost 2-6, 0-6; third singles Zach Monahan lost 4-6, 2-6; and second doubles Adam Potter and James Comeau lost 1-6, 0-6.
