The second half was another story as the boys from Stoughton staged a comeback that reminded many of the Celtics as they turned up the pressure and slowly but surely, point by point, they cut into the deficit and with key substitutions by the coaching staff, Stoughton’s speed on the court, accurate foul shooting and overall tenacity saw Stoughton’s 5th graders edge out Mansfield as they captured a 44-42 win improving their overall Metrowest record to 3-0.
