STOYAC Travel Basketball: Week 2 Scoreboard

Six of 10 Stoughton teams earned victories in week 2 action.

The teams representing STOYAC/Stoughton in the Metrowest travel league took part in the second week of action this past Sunday (Dec. 11).

Six teams earned victories: The 4th, 6th and 8th grade girls, and the 5th, 6th and 7th grade boys.

The 5th and 7th grade boys are now . The 4th, 6th and 8th grade girls and the 6th grade boys picked up their first wins of the season.

The 8th grade boys just missed out on a 2-0 start, losing to Brockton by two points.

  • 4th grade boys (0-2) lost to Newton 45-38
  • 5th grade boys (2-0) defeated Walpole 58-47
  • 6th grade boys (1-1) defeated Foxboro 33-31
  • 7th grade boys (2-0) defeated Walpole 49-43
  • 8th grade boys (1-1) lost to Brockton 58-56
  • 4th grade girls (1-1) defeated Mansfield 27-18
  • 5th grade girls (1-1) lost to Westwood 34-22
  • (1-1) defeated Mansfield 34-22
  • 7th grade girls (0-2) lost to Millis 36-23
  • 8th grade girls (1-1) defeated Westboro 41-33

On Sunday, Dec. 18 Stoughton/STOYAC will host the following games at the :

  • 8:30 a.m. - 4th grade boys vs. Norton
  • 9:20 a.m. - 5th grade boys vs. Mansfield
  • 11:10 a.m. - 4th grade girls vs Newton
  • 12:30 p.m. - 8th grade girls vs. Natick
