STOYAC Basketball: Playoff Scoreboard

STOYAC basketball scores from the semifinal round of the recreation league playoffs (finals are Saturday, March 17) and from the opening week of the playoffs for the travel league.

The STOYAC basketball program, where many of the players on this year’s varsity basketball team got their start, wishes to congratulate the SStoughton High boys’ basketball team who captured the . We are very proud of you.

As the STOYAC basketball season is in the midst of its own March Madness playoffs, there was plenty of action in all divisions as teams are reaching for the gold and title of Divisional Champion.

PEEWEE BOYS DIVISION:

8:30 a.m. -  Peewee Boys: Dick Levine/Caldwell Banker vs. Kid Care Dental

9:30 a.m. -  Peewee Girls: Tri-county Pediatrics vs. Grace Church

10:30 a.m. -  Junior Girls: Lloyd Animal Medical vs. Stoughton Co-op Bank

11:30 a.m. - Graduate: Team Buresh vs. Team Distefano

12:30 p.m. - Junior Boys - T.L.Edwards vs. Chemic Labs

1:30 p.m. -  Senior Girls - Daddy's Dairy vs. Franklin Sports

2:30 p.m. - Senior Boys - Law Office of Stephen J. Delamere vs. Randolph Chrysler Jeep

In the Metrowest Travel League the teams representing STOYAC and Stoughton are involved with their playoffs as well and the results of the single elimination tournament are as follows:

4th Grade Boys beat Sharon 42-37 and lost to Brockton 42-24

4th Grade Girls defeated Sharon 42-37 and lost to Easton 37-18

5th Grade Boys lost to Mansfield 50-44

5th Grade Girls lost fell to Newton 33-22

6th Grade Boys defeated West Roxbury 80-37 but lost to Needham 52-51

6th Grade Girls beat North Attleboro 41-36

7th Grade Boys lost to Westboro 55-42

7th Grade Girls Beat Holliston 34-30 and lost to Bellingham 46-23

8th Grade Boys beat West Roxbury 61-53

8th Grade Girls lost to Dedham 49-46
